Welcome to my DP
Gladiator Strength and Conditioning
Ive always been interested in athletic training and working with other people in developing skills in how to become a better athlete or whatever the case may be. This internship has helped me develop a better mind set on what I want to pursue after high school and what I have to go thru in order to reach my goal.

Theres not much to say but what I learned is that whatever I have my mind set on I need to work hard for it and not give up and also to have a back up plan just in case I fail. By looking at my mentors and everyone in the gym they all have goals on what they want to do and there pursuing them.
Me and Alec are starting to record our own mini montage/documentary video. So this week will consist of recording and working out.
Yes, Im always speaking up and asking " what's next?" and just asking questions to understand more of something. My mentor and everyone in the gym encourages me to question everything and to ask why something is done a certain way. go to externship blog and scroll over it to see my the photo essay tab. there you will find all the pictures.
Thank you, Andrew Olivera It is week two and hell yea I am more than glad that im able to work with such motivating people. This internship is fun and I am always learning something new so yes, I am glad that I chose this intership. My schedule for the week has been:
Monday: legs/squat Tuesday: chest/bench Wedesday: Deadlift/back Thursday: Explosive upper body Friday: rest Throught these days I get to shadow and help out my mentor with clients. Yes, I have enough time to complete the tasks im handed. The Internship I am doing relates back to school because the gym and school is a routine. If I want to get better at something I have to practice and practice until I get it right. As of right now I am just getting my strength back up and also learning teqniques of lifting. Something funny that happened was that my coach dropped a 120lb dumbell on the wood platform LOL, i guess you can say that was something interesting.
Yesterday my mentor taught me a different squat teqnique that would help me get the weight back up faster and easier. I also started writing in a journal/ notebook that logs in what I eat everyday. I also had the chance yesterday to shadow my mentor and help him train a client.
Commented on: Liam's blog & Milo Waldren' blog This is my home gym, this is not your basic gym. There's music blasting to get the intensity of working out. What struck me the most was that everyone at this gym are some big strong people. What struck me most about the job I'm doing is nothing because I like to work out every day and my biggest goal is to get big for rugby in college. I'm excited to reach my goal and nervous about failing that goal.
