Welcome to my DP
Roller Coaster Project
In this project students were either asked to build an art peice of a rollercoaster or marble machine. In the art peice we had to scale a model of our roller coaster that we thought of building on an peice of foam then paint a design to make it nice. For the marble machine we had to build from scratch and mess a lot around with the track to make it work. What we used to build this Roller Coaster was , wooden poles, wood glue, hot glue, tacks, wire and pipe for the track and foam to stabalize and hold tthe wooden sticks in.
The Process
Building this project was hard. It may seem basic but its was hard and fusterrating. We had sepnt half of out time doing sketches that were no help on the project. Building the Roller Coaster was hard because there was many faults in the track that we could not figure out until we tested it out by dropping on the marble onto the track. Revising the track took time because most of the time the sticks were breaking or the dauls wood pop off from the tack so that took a while to glue back and create the trackl again.
My final product wasnt much. I never had a brainstorm i just did what worked best for my Roller Coaster to work. The drafts did not help at all because just drawing out the initial track was just a disaster. Once we started building we saw that the drafts could not match up with our official building of the Roller Coaster.

Newtons Laws
My Physics Concept was based on Newtons Laws of motion. The First Law is when an object is at rest it will stay at rest unless acted upon an object. The Second Law is when the acceleration of a body is paralell and directly porportional to the mass and force. The Third Law is the mutual forces of action reaction are equal. This is my physics concept for my Roller Coaster concept.
My Background design and Art Piece
Reflection
My efforts on ths project i would say would be a B+. I put in a lot of effort but my track did not work except for the first loop. It was small and basic not too much to put in but i kept it simple for a reason i felt like i did not have enough time to be working on it and it was all rushed. But i still finished my work on time and had i up for display on exibition.
